Hi GZ - OFF TOPIC Sorta,

This is off Topic to Chiefy's technique but very similar to the total picture.

Those who read IBD might like to watch the IBD Mutual Fund Index - page A15 on todays paper. For the first time since June the index has bounced off it's 50 day moving average and now lies just below it(for the last two days).

Although not a leading indicator - the index represents a huge sample of funds and where the money is going from an institutional perspective.

If we pop over it on this retouch and it looks like it is building to overcome that resistance - then riding on the tails of the big money (strong and long legs) is where we're going.

Upon confirmation of crossing the 50 day moving average - "TO DA MOON" may well be more than just a hopeful expression.

FWIW and thanks for all those who are teaching this lurker one more trick - like chiefy says "you can't build a house with just a hammer ya knose".<vbg>

Bob

That's what the e-wavers claim, but I am just hypothesizing they are wrong but e-wave is useful at a certain scale... This is a rather heretical conversation for this thread :)

Just saw a great Vietnamese film "The Vertical Ray of the Sun". Movie place is a couple of blocks from me.

Sold covered calls on News Corp this afternoon as it hit my original 10 September put writing price....($A15 and I let the puts exercise). My latest puts ($A14.50) are now out of the money today and tomorrow is expiry here. So it's all working out. More than recouped my September losses. I'm working on August losses now! So after my biggest down month so far I have currently my biggest up month ever. Termination money will go into the account on Friday and provide more margin....

On the other hand the news from Israel is more worrying. Also, I heard last night that the wife of a former colleague of mine in Boston died from a heart attack. She would have been in her mid-40s and looked very young.
