(I called small claims, and was told I would have to get a lawyer, they only handled local companies.) I told you they made ME mail my phone back and I had to pay to register it, and when I received it back it still wasn't working...it hasn't worked since April. I had to get new service and pay for connection fee, with ATT and now MCI said they will charge me $200 for canceling my service that is suppose to run out in February of 02! He was trying to make out like it was my fault...I told him I called Customer service 12 times and sat on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes before I finally hung up, I finally got my bill corrected and they told me I had to call disconnect, they couldn't do it. I've called disconnect 16 times, that it has connected and who knows how many times that it clicked out and said this number is busy try later...I sat on hold once again for 45 minutes and three times when it clicked in, it hung up on me.. He was trying to tell me it was my fault because I wouldn't go plug in the phone this time and tell him what I saw. I told him everyone in my family had tried to get it to work and it didn't work...he was saying I WOULDN'T COOPERATE WITH HIM! I would have to pay the $200 because I hadn't completely my contract which expires in Jan. I told him I haven't had service since April, and had to go out and purchase new service to get a phone...I have been able to get through to them three times since I received my phone back from the company they made me mail it to back in April, wrapped. I had to have insurance and a tracer number..to the tune of $25 demanded by them... WCOM should go under with customer service like that!
