That's what I don't understand about Bruno cheating. The goal is to win, but what then? Are the alumni going to contribute more? Will winning increase the average crowd size from 4,000 to 4,500? I think they cheated simply because the opportunity to cheat was there and it's probably what they did at their previous schools. In the last year, I've been on the Columbia, Penn and Princeton campuses and the apathy toward football looks as high as ever. At Princeton, most students are involved in their own sports. At Columbia, they're busy living in one of the world's better playgrounds.

All,

I do some consulting and am analyzing a persons 401k. The person came over to pick up the analysis today and brought the September report so we could update it to include 3rd Quarter. The losses in September took away 3 years of savings contributions and earnings. He said it always comes back. BTW, this person is not young, is a college degreed professional and works for a company that is part of the DOW 30. Not yet ready to throw in the towel and preserve capital!!!! I wonder if this is representative of most employees at US corporations.

Joan

To All, let us bid a fond and sad farewell to Duramed, now a part of Barr Labs, BRL. You were a great old stock, DRMD.
