<< Ironic that if a Palestinian state is created, he will watch news reports of it from Hades. >>

Israel "occupied" the West Bank and Gaza, after many years of savage, terrorist attacks by the Palestinians. If they get complete control of the land again, the cycle of violence will increase again.

The Palestinians are not interested in statehood, except as a launching pad for attacks against Israel. If they were really interested in a State, they would have accepted the offer from Israel. They turned it down, because the basis of a Palestinian state must contain the destruction of Israel as it's charter. Arafat also turned down the generous offer of a Palestinian State because he knew about the impending attack upon America. Arafat KNEW! Why else would he turn down an offer of statehood!?

Most Arab nations agree. Otherwise the Arab nations would pressure the Palestinians into peace with Israel. Why the hell is it up to America to do the work that the Arab nations refuse to do. Why is America the only country to attempt and force a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians?

The reason has to lie in the ancient and ever present racial and religious intolerance and hatred of Arabs. Arab nations run on oil and hatred. Sadat was the last peacemaker, and he was murdered by his Muslim buddies for it.

Sadat's death speaks volumes of, perhaps, why the other Arab leaders don't have any backbone.
