Sure you could write a 10,000 page book on the unreasonableness and unfairness and indeed pro-Nazi stance of the Palestinians and every item would be true. But it was pure colonialism of the UN to hand "British" (really Arab) territory over to Zionists, who didn't need to move to the Middle East. That started all the trouble. If we go back further we can trace it to Hitler. He was such a monster and massacred so many millions of people that it seemed the least thing that the UN could do, to hand over some British territory to the survivors as a token of apology for not having been willing to grant German Jews immigration visas. The trouble is they were ignoring the Palestinians presence there. They also ignored the vow of the Arab states to prevent the hand over by force, i.e. war. With friends like the UN of that time you don't need enemies. The happiest of all was Stalin, who enthusiastically endorsed the hand over of the territory. He could easily foresee decades or centuries of conflict between the Arabs and the Western countries.
