richie, the fact is that Clinton had little or nothing to do with that growth and expansion just as Bush has little or nothing to do with the current situation.....

All that so-called "Clinton growth" was inherited. The economy was growing at over 4% was he came in and had been growing smartly for 13 months. Manufacturing was in steep decline before Clinton left office and the NAS had crashed. The markets indicated the present Clinton recession.

Clinton came in during a boom and left a recession.
