It would be in AMD's interest to not give the competition any idea how well this puppy is going to clock. I don't think anything should be inferred from these numbers. 2 GHz is simply a nice round number. :)

I think it reasonable to assume tho, given the history of the Athlon core and AMD's process prowess, there's a very good chance hammer on .13u SOI will get the job done.
