I doubt I am 168% on EMLX, I'll calculate it later tonight from my records, but I know am 100% up on the low of MU (I have kept a running records for this one, without today's play $19.35 and the lowest I bought it was just above $16.5) and then some and MU is not up 100% by a long shot.

Larry, I promised I'll calculate the results since the lows (I entered these lows on Sep 21st), including a little analysis:

BRCD In at $13.82, in 35 trades till the close Friday, the cumulative gain was $22.26. A total of 18 trades were not "successful" (meaning a gain of less than $.50 or a loss), but only 3 losses. Thus in about 50% of the time, the "exercise" was "worthless", but by minimizing the losses and having half the trades in the 5% to 10% range, good results can be obtained, particularly during such an advance where here and there there are some 10% plus trades.

BRCM, in at 18.88, 35 trades, of which 12 were not successful, but only 3 losers. Total gain $20.22, not as good as BRCD.

QLGC, in at 18.18, 37 trades, of which 14 where not successful and a larger 6 actual losses. Total gains $34.83 (a full $13.53 of that in the last three days due to a gutsy and lucky entry AH after the first reaction to earnings.)

EMLX, in at $9.22, 28 trades, of which 12 were not successful but only 3 losses. Total gain, $20.22.

JNPR, in at $9.35, 31 trades of which 14 were not successful but only 2 losses. Total gain $24.27.

Thus in all cases the tactic worked better than buy and hold through the period. Of course, just before that low, I had a string, for instance in BRCM, of 5 losses totaling $4.39 between $27.50 and $19.50 until I finally wised up (and of course, did not take the whole $8 loss either).
