The NASD and NDX have broken above their 50 dma's today, however they have not yet taken out their highs
of Oct 17th. The SPX, OEX, DJIA and RUT have not broken above their 50 dma's .

the Morgan stanley high tech average (MSH.X), the Networking (NWX.X) and the Pacific Tech index (PSE.x)
have all broken through their 50 dma's.

The SOX
index which is very widely followed is below it's 50 dma and does not look that strong.

So the question is ..... Is the NASD and the tech indexes leading the way or providing the false tell?
