I disagree but it won't matter anyway because a retest will not require tax loss selling. It is as natural as rain.
I think we will need one in this environment in order for a bull market to have a chance. Retests can take a few weeks or months. So that is my time frame. I have very little confidence in being more specific in this environment.

I plan on doing some!

Of course, any proceeds of my tax-loss selling will be reinvested in something that is just enough different to avoid the wash-sale rule, so maybe it doesn't count? <g>
