Noise,

I just spoke to Tina, Dow Jones has the release the wrong way around. New Target is 30 not 40.

Regards,

Rob

>>>Pete mentioned a big cash wad to possibly buy troubled companies. Anyone have any ideas who they might go after?

eCom - no, all hype, no customers, etc. most likely running out of money.
intd - no, they're in a different sector.
BLLS - maybe, no revs. Would hurt spectrum more than help checkfree.
DOCC - no, Docucorp won't sell, solid little company though.
ORCC - no, platform is bad (100% convert), worthless patents, maybe worth a look. cheap. Is running out of $$$, needs help.
Avolent - ? Wells fargo has an investment I think.
edocs - maybe a good fit, maybe cheap.
Mobi - better experts than me, but may use up too much cash
epay - diffent model than checkfree, also products don't complement each other.

International?

A mish mash of companies out there, so I'm not sure which one to buy. Buying anything would hurt the competition. Also looks like the main competition for sure will be metavante (considering Spectrum outsourses payments to them).

IMHO,

Benny
