he may have made some correct calls but then again, so have we all (even a broken clock is correct twice a day) and he smelt like a perma-bear so I question how good his calls were - in any event, i was really referring to his 'tude anyway

Zeev, Yesterday you said that we need to have a few days above the 50 DMA in order for the swoon down to 1500-ish to occur for the Naz here in November. I was wondering why that is, if we don't make it above the 50 day moving average, which I think we did today, wouldn't that be a sign of weakness and thus make the swoon down more likely? Or is it the contrarian thinking, in that once we convert the last of the short term bears by holding above the 50 DMA, a down draft is imminent? Thanks for all your insight. Tom
