Just a little office with a telephone, a fax machine, and a bunch of file cabinets that desperately need reorganizing. I think you hit on something. If you don't like the fact that unions as a rule support Democratic candidates, then I would suggest that you work with the Republican Party in your part of the country. Sit down with some local labor leaders and say: "What can we do to get you people in the Republican Party fold?" I'm sure they'd be glad to talk to you. Good luck and keep me posted.
