Hi MSI; Even if a dysfunctional nation doesn't actually fall of its own weight, (like the USSR), or is defeated in battle (like the 3rd Reich), they still moderate over time (like China).

Heck, I'm not the same person I was 20 years ago, the United States itself has change a lot, why should other countries stay fixed?

The world's general trend is positive, we should never forget that. But I agree completely that we have no business keeping soldiers stationed in parts of the world that we're not at war with, and I hate seeing the factions from violent parts of the world manipulate our emotions so they can use us as a club against the neighbors that they can neither forgive nor tolerate. Of course there are conditions where we need to have soldiers stationed overseas, but I'd like to see a lot less of it.
