BGR, I don't quite grasp your ROFL, which is some weeks late.

I have now re-established 60% of my Dow LEAP puts and added some QQQ puts.

I take you think we are now in a renewed bull market.

I do not think so. I think we are still in the earlier stages of a very protracted and increasingly boring decline, since stocks are terribly overpriced.

My actively traded account is up 85% for the year. I have bought LEAP puts on the indexes that extend out until 2004.

The one important mistake I made fairly recently was to buy the furthest out calls on the gold index (XAU) that I could. I must admit that with all the developing troubles and the gross monetary inflation by the Fed, I do not understand the failure of gold to move at least to $315.

But apparently the gorilla breast-pounding by the US is enough to keep confidence in the US dollar very high.

What is it, exactly, that you find so amusing?
