Gus,

Thanks again for your excellent posts and data in here and places like the EMC threads. The research is second to none and I appreciate it.

I thought the Qlgc report had some interesting points yesterday-- one was that QLGC Total FC Rev was up 2% sequentially, but FC HBA Rev was up 23% sequentially.
Actually, a little marvelled at the fact Qlgc did so well last q considering the recent poor performances of EMC and BRCD.

I believe Emlx currently has the deal with EMC Clarion (now, the Dell deal), but know EMC wants everyone toys in their playground. Will QLGC get any of the EMC/DELL FC HBA biz anytime soon? I know switches are another story...

thanks for any thoughts, as always

11:38AM McData (MCDTA) 15.70 +0.27 (+1.8%): FAC/Equities views OEM agreement with Compaq (CPQ) as a positive for the company; should open doors for QLGC to expand the relationship to include 16 port switches. Firm believes MCDT is on track to take further market share from BRCD.

Could someone please explain the QLGC reference in the above?
