Seems to me Kenny, that you, the consumer, have something to say about this. Rather than expect the government to bail you out at every turn, just tell the airline of your choice that you refuse to fly on their planes until they come up to your standard. When enough consumers do that, I promise...they will fix the problem...or go out of business.
