Is this what happens when a bunch of marketing types try to play global financier? Although, it looks like some real global finance types got sucked into it as well. You'd think after all the financial scandals of recent years (going back to BCCI, Kidder & Barings) that these firms would have better controls in place so this relatively small scandal could have been prevented. E*Trade was in over its head - what was the others' excuse?
