Hi Mark,

Well, for a day that started off looking very grim (globally and on a personal level with HLIT position down several K), things finished nicely. Someone must have heard my hope for CNXT and VTSS after AMCC took off - still holding them and original AMCC position. Re-bought AMCC as planned tho my retrace calculation was off by a dime, then sold again at 13.6 for another buck - it may run more, but is close to resistance and should be available tomorrow at a discount.

This may be what was moving CNXT, from Briefing.com: Frost Securities reiterates Strong Buy rating and price target of $23; notes the company's now appears to be paying dividends as it looks positioned to be one of the leaders of the industry's inevitable recovery and will also enjoy the majority of the breadth of the cyclical up-turn; brokerage is particularly encouraged by the company's improving market share in the wireless handset space; and believes CNXT is gaining share against the dominance of Broadcom (BRCM) in cable modems. Reached your 12 target, now what? VTSS got over 11 and is now working on that gap area - will 11 now be support? We'll see.

Also from briefing.com: Art Tech Grp (ARTG) 1.70 +0.20: Reports Q3 (Sep) loss of $0.13 per share, $0.06 better than the Multex consensus of ($0.19); revenues fell 35.1% year/year to $30.0 mln vs the $27.6 mln consensus. For Q4 expects revenue between $27 mln-$31 mln (consensus $32.6 mln); excluding restructuring charges guides higher for EPS, now expects a net loss between ($0.08) to ($0.12) vs the consensus ($0.14). Trading up .2 in AH to 1.90. Good call.

INKT crept over 6, perhaps it'll keep going toward 7+ and not do a retrace to 5. SBUX chewing thru that 17.5 resistance. FLSH testing resistance. FORG finding reversal. ORCH moved nice late in the day. Lots of spare change laying around, gizzard traders are good at picking up all sorts of loose stuff. <VBG> Now need to remember to keep it.

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
