Re: We'll see how they act when we get ready to deal with Iraq.

Huh?! Forget about it.... Turkey's gonna sent peacekeepers all across Afghanistan: they're Muslim, they're in good terms with the Northern Alliance (General Dostum) and they've got a military "joint venture" with Israel. BUT Turkey has repeatedly warned the US that they'd better leave Iraq alone. Turkey will be instrumental in any post-war Afghanistan and Iraq was not the least involved in the 911 terrorist attacks, nor in the Zionist anthrax blackmail.

As for China, they'll make sure no one pulls a dirty trick at US troops stationed in Central Asia... For the time being, China's oil needs don't call for a pipeline linking Caspian reserves to, say, Shanghai. The more oil gas-guzzling America can syphon off Central Asia, the better for the US economy (inflation) and so the better for China's exports to the US.
