Elmer Re..AMD on the other hand is consolidating into a market where they continue to lose, but there again they can continue their Jehad so they're happy. <<<<<<<<

Not according to Businessweek.
That may not be enough. Now more than ever, flawless execution in Intel's core microprocessor business is essential to overcome weak results in the new businesses and the plunge in the economy. Rival Advanced Micro Devices (AMD ), however, hopes to throw a monkey wrench into that plan. The scrappy upstart, locked in a bitter battle with Intel, has made major inroads since 1999, when it introduced its Athlon processor. The chip, which was faster than Intel's Pentium III, was quickly snapped up by PC makers, especially when Intel couldn't make enough processors to meet sizzling demand during the Internet heyday. AMD, after nearly two decades, finally put a dent in Intel's market share.<<<<<<<<<<<

According to businessweek, AMD grabbed market share with its superior processor and Intel misques.

AMD started the "agressive pricing" and Intel has continuously priced above AMD. <<<<<<<

Who says that besides you. Here is what Businessweek says.

This year, Intel counterpunched. It slashed prices on its Pentium 4 chips by 84%, dragging AMD into a savage price war. And in the past month, Intel has released a speedy, 2-gigahertz Pentium 4 chip that outguns AMD's top processor. AMD is expected to strike back by mid-October with faster Athlon chips. ,

Maybe you should read a little more besides Intel hogwash so you can get an unbiased opinion on this.

Jerry has decimated a once profitable company, sold off profitable divisions, even sold the headquarters to fund what has been a negative return. All while enriching himself for decades and what has he given you in return?<<<<<<<<<<<<

Only in your mind. According to Businessweek.

Where in there does it say AMD started the price war? Intel had to slash prices because of its inferior chips and eroding market share. Read it again if you don't understand it.

That is how the business world perceives things.
