Maybe you haven't noticed, but for the past four or five years, Sanders kept repeating his goal of taking 30% market share, obviously at Intel's expense.

Wrong! Barrett's goal has never been to take market share from AMD. IIRC, Intel considers their #1 competitor to be Sun. Of course, Intel's #1 competitor is usually Intel, since the hardest sell is that of the computer upgrade to someone who already think they have all they need.
