Sorry to take so long in responding. You have an excellent point. Since they will have to use primitive sources of heat in the caves, it should present a good target. I realize those caves are pretty extensive, and wander around under ground, but if we could plug up all the air holes, and collapse all the entrances, it won't take long for the oxygen to be used up.
