Board members function as information consultants. Many times they know or know who knows all kinds of stuff. Having worked with CEO's and with board member of large corporations flappies understanding of how companies function is the perspective of a union guy who admits he posting on company time. Those who are ignorant of others and who envy what others have rationalize ridicule. If Neocon is ignorant of inner workings of actual board rooms then I am amazed that Neocon would say "I agree that the boards are often too chummy and not truly earning their keep."
