>AMD has lost several customers lately...
Where do they get these guys? The people that right most of these articles are idiots. Another writer that mistakenly points and that Micron Technology has dropped AMD (as he even quotes the stock symbol-MU). Obviously, he is talking about Micron PC as Micron Technology only manufacturers memory and flash products. I guess he is another joker that is not dropped by the Micron PC website lately.

Paul Re...Struggling AMD Going After Sealed Court Evidence

By Tim McDonald, www.NewsFactor.com

The ongoing battle between computer chip makers Intel (Nasdaq: INTC - news) and Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE: AMD - news) moved out of the laboratories and board rooms and into the courtroom this week. AMD filed a lawsuit that seeks to uncover sealed evidence in a legal case that Intel won two years ago.<<<<<<<

Are you trying to say the lawsuit would be a good thing for Intel. If you would have read the articles in THG and Anands, you should be more than a little worried that Intel will lose and be hit with punative damages.

AMD has lost several customers lately, including Gateway (NYSE: GTW - news), IBM (NYSE: IBM - news) and Micron Technology (NYSE: MU - news). The company isn't expected to come out with next-generation Athlon processors until next summer. Also, its Hammer processor technology has been delayed until late 2002. <<<<<<<

First off, you know as well as I that Micron PC still sells AMD. And Tiny computers also just started selling AMD again. So this reporter hasn't kept up with the times. Hammer may be slightly delayed depending upon who you talk to, but so what? The good reviews Hammer has gotten will have hurt McKinley, unless it can be shown that once Hammer tapes out, it won't meet its goals. Otherwise, a lot of customers may chose to wait before they thrash their current software.
