Smart_Money - I did a little different search - I looked for "die_*" and got a bunch of hits on two of the systems that my kids use. But there turned out to be a simple explanation on the files I found - they are graphics components used by the interactive multi-user version of the program, in a sequence where a game character "dies".

Perhaps this program is simply such a sequence for a player using a netscape browser??? In other words, support for gamers who are using something other than IE for interactive games?
