John Y. Brown III is Kentucky's current secretary of state. (Phyllis George was his stepmother.) He's a solid Democrat, a rising star. By the way, look for Kentucky Gov. Paul Patton to take on "Beanball" Jim Bunning in the U.S. Senate race a few years down the road.

Also, the ABA rated Bunning's son "not qualified" to become a federal judge from Kentucky. I'd hate to be around "Beanball" when his boy gets tossed by the Senate.
