I have read reports that Paks nuke arsenal, at the time anyway, was a phut phut exercise in PR.

Read that Pak was broke and couldn't continue with the program, had to abandon the project. The display back then was more of a bunch of firecrackers to make India shake in their boots. <g>

Nothing to say that Osama Bin ladin may have pumped millions into the nuke program in return for the support and shelter. And so maybe NOW they have them, bbut at the time, the spy satellite pictures showed some pipes and infrastructure which was supposed to be involved in the nuke explosion. They were clean as a whistle after the explosion, indicating that the whole exercise had been a hoax.

However, they might have accelerated and completed their project NOW. Its been a while since that explosion anyway...
