In edit, BRCD went again here at $26.50, for another $.75. What a country...

In reedit, BRKS just went at $34.44 for a very nice $3.21, a solid 10% on top ofthe $2 taken earlier this week.

Good grief! Who would be buying at these levels other than shorts covering? The whole world knows there is going to be a technical double bottom process soon. This is just panic buying, IMO, most likely by mo-mo hedge funds.

What am I missing?

NASDAQ blows through 50-day mva on high volume in the face of continued negative economic news, rising unemployment, etc., which will probably trigger additional institutional buying, moving indices higher. No way I thought we would have a V-shaped recovery of 30% from 9/21 low of 1380.

What am I missing? More importantly, what sign(s) would prompt anyone to short this market?
