They reported the facts correctly, but they interpreted the facts incorrectly. I've also seen a report that indicated the plane passed over the area of the White House at 7000 feet and then did the drop and spiral into the Pentagon. The plane coming from the west over flew and then a 360 spiral down to the Pentagon. Now the White and capitol at 7000 ft would not be anywhere near the visible target the Pentagon is and the final decision to go after the Pentagon may have occurred in the final minutes of the flight. But the plane was seconds from the White House and the Capitol building and anyone who does not take that into account along with the words of the Air Controller and then say that the the White House was reasonably considered a target are retarded fools.
