Lee, Whilst I'm appalled at the lack of connection between price movement & fundamentals, I also keep reminding myself that the market hasn't traded off fundamentals for years so why should it start now ?. Further, its only ever been about supply & demand, and with year end approaching, those funds that haven't bought in to some of the big movers can now either pray they come back down, buy some now ... or take a position and make sure the price doesn't drop ala 1979 when the funds kept piling into the same momo stocks to boost their performance. They're between a rock and a hard place ... and their very survival is at stake. I'm gobsmacked as, like you, I've not trusted this run-up and just played some of the moves ... but I think we've both been around the market long enough to not discount the scenario I've outlined.

Regards

Stephen
