Hammer is a diversion. AMD's real target is taking over the mobile processor market with Barton.

Technusatsu,

you are taking my arguments and exaggerating them all out of proportion.

I am just taking your arguments and replacing names AMD with Intel and vice versa.

Temporary losses are one thing. Reoccuring losses are another. AMD is headed down the path of reoccuring losses

How do you know that? We know about 1 quarter, with a good probability of 2 quarters of losses, if Q4 ends up in a loss. Beyond that, what do you know that I don't know?

Joe

>AMD is headed down the path of reoccuring losses<

Would you have made this same statement in Q4, 1997?
