buy stops come in handy for those 'unexpected moves' to the upside. Actually, most of the buys I do now are using buy stops.. Once I took a liking to shorting I realized that catching that 'squeeze' with buy stops was an easy way to shave 1/2 points for day trades.. when the market gets silly like it is right now, it works like a charm on heavily shorted stocks..

Now in the case of HAUP.. ARGH! I sold yesterday at break even, only to see the monster move today.. and to make matters worse, I had my notes to put a buy stop at around 1 3/4...

coulda shoulda woulda?
