Ridiculous!!! AF 1 is a target when the President is on board. How would they ever be able to know he was aboard and/or be sure of its whereabouts....??

Correctomundo, and that is what lead me to believe that they were taking advantage of the situation as I said to deflect any potential criticism, which it did, and which I said was smart on their part.

Twin Towers hit and collapsed, Pentagon nailed, phone call from Dulles saying a plane was targeting the WH. The schedule of AF1 wasn't a secret, hard to say it couldn't have been a target. Things changed drastically in one hour.
