Yes, X, and then there was that. LOL! And there were pointed personal crude, sexist insults to posters by name to genitalia. By self-described, PROUD TO BE 'all-American, PATRIOT, 'right wingers.' I've seen deliberate racist hostility here ... again, from those who are proud to be 'conservatives.' I think SI in general has degenerated into an extremely hostile place. There is no middle ground here. Again, I hope it's not representative of R/L but I'm afraid it is. To some degree, anyway. bia

Hypothetically, if the enemy captured your kid, and we captured someone who knew his location but wouldn't tell, would you be in favor of torture? [This is totally hypothetical, mind you, I'm just trying to see where or if you draw the line on restraint.]
