"I can only get that lots of experience after they hire me." or something like that, and yes i did a mumbo jumbo of the saying since the logic of the above has many holes in it. But that saying that "It takes money to make money." seems to be true when one wants to make lots of money. Lets assume that your friendly bank where you have a checking account will not loan you the "($10 million could do a lot)", so how can you control the who or what that will give you that "give me a jingle." ? Whats available to change a penny into a hundred dollars, or 10 pennies into 10 dollars. For sure if you did a buy of 1,000,000 shares @ $0.10 each and sold them for $10.00 each, then you got the ten million for investment of $100,000 using a factor of 1:100 gain. Just need a few more person with $100,000 to join you. Your model is "... to form a mid tier "portfolio" exploration company with about $35- $50 million in starting capital, and take..." You ask if anyone "[Anybody] have that kind of money ($10 million could do a lot), give me a jingle." sems to have a simple division range of 35/10 - 50/10 such that you need between 3+1/2 to 5 persons. (lets use the 5) find 5 people with $10 million each versus find 50 people with $1 million each versus 500 people with $100,000 each to the foolishness of my example being 500,000 people with $1,000 each is easy :o) My impression that the 50 people might be tough to talk to them all and sell your idea, plus even if so there would be too many independent thoughts floating in conflict. Those 5 people would be nice, but hard to collect. Nice number seems like a tight group of ten people, but that $5 million each and with the dot-com bubble pop, may be hard. Seems like you may have to do that think outside "this" box. Would a scaled down model work ? 1/10 ? seems doable, no ? for sure 1/100, but this may not deliver your model as workable as in not enough control obtained by you to set company policy You mentioned "highest integrity" as part of the equation, so please look into the following Si member as he is doing what i'm completely in the dark except he wants to make lots of money "for the love of it" as in through work the old fashioned way, he will earn it :o) References: Richard of The MazzMember 2585708 d:o)ug
