Stix was positive on Csco as that sucker plummeted from the 80s for a long, long time (until summer I think)..

That's correct. But now I am talking with respect to post bubble era which could be the beginning/within/end of bear market.

Anyway, I really wouldn't rely on what an analyst says about anything

That's also correct.
But my whole reason for posting was in relation to what course the NAS is going to take and how this would fit into Zeev's turnips input.

Cases in point:
Stix turned positive on JNPR on 10/4/2001 after which you know the course of action on JNPR.
Roberston Stephen analyst turned positive on networking stocks such as EXTR, ONIS on 10/8 after which they almost doubled in 3 weeks.
So what changed all of a sudden in the networking sector where switches and routers are still being sold on EBAY.

This buy and hold crap is plain bullshit for high techs. That's why timing an entry in a tech stock is critical if one can get it right.
