Stormin Norman,
RE Eschatological America.
A difficult subject, herein lies one difficulty. In Biblical prophecy, reference is only made to those nations or leaders that directly impact Jerusalem and the nation of Israel. Time passage has made the latter somewhat problematic. Most modern commentators try and reference the church, but it really is not referenced in eschatology. On top of this, no attempt is made to use modern nation names, the time view is past present future continuum, hence a nation would usually be referenced by it's root people, contemporary to the writer. As it was written in that continuum view it has to make sense back in time, they could not make sense of it forward. All of which makes it difficult to work out for the US, a nation of immigrants. Symbols are also used, but again, they may not be contemporary to our time.

I would suggest we carry on this conversation by PM, as it is outside the venue (even our large SDII venue, ggg) of the thread. While the subject is an interest of mine, I do not wish to explain or defend it to the many websters who get rabid one way or the other on these subjects. It is not time efficient.

As far as I'm concerned, they can take the blue pill and wake up believing whatever they want to believe.

Best Regards,

Roebear

Why don't you email that to Marshall Loeb. I didn't write

the article or necessarily agree with everything in it. But I did find it interesting and provocative. You apparently agree.<g>

So, when you get an answer from Mr Loeb, please post it so we can all benefit.

TIA
