Both the media and the 'stupids like Biden' are really bothersome...On one hand, we hear: "The 19th day of the War"....and next we hear (tonight Brokaw said)...."can America really* win the war on terror??" And then, any who have been paying attention, know that we, in dealing with anthrax as it is being used, are entering unknown territory....Now some jerks are doing just what you mention...."the goverment didn't move fast enough".... It's a real 'catch 22'..... If the Government completely shut down, there would be a total hue and cry... If the Government gave Cipro to every worker that maybe someday might come into contact with anthrax....and then many of those same workers got really sick from some of the side effects of Cipro....What would we all be hearing then? If the Government warned all of us to stay in our houses, so we didn't have a chance to catch the stuff, what would we be hearing??? These media people just are filling up air time, but NOT doing much of anything constructive. They could be working on documentaries showing the last many years of buildup to this..... or showing some past terrorist events that we as a country didn't get too exercised about....and updating the information now available ... or mentioning that we have 300 billion pieces of mail delivered to about 130 million addresses EACH day....And right now we have had 3 people die of anthrax.... or showing that women in this country DON'T have to hide themselves, or be beaten by some wimp or be stoned because it is the 'custom'...... It does make one wonder if the people who are running the so called news stations and other media EVER really studied under ANY of the OLD broadcasters......Or for that matter, ever studied any History, or certainly any Foreign Affairs.....
