I understood the reason people were more and more resistant to antibiotics was due to the fact that people quit taking them as soon as they start feeling better. I presume that means they pass on a slightly different virus that is somehow more resistant than what the antibiotic was trying to cure in the first instance. I had been given Penicillin the week before the Cipro but was still ill.

I was prescribed the drug before I ever heard of it being used for Anthrax, and before this happened.
