Hi Suresh. I will keep an eye on them. Assuming you're right and VRSN is a good bargain, it should be a good buy ~37. If the market cooperates, it should get there.

Clint

Hi Suresh,

VRSN seems to still be seeing nice traction on all its business segments, but the uptick in DSO's to 75 (or 70 adjuststed ) from 65 is a concern (though not great as it is still within a tolerable range) and the P/S of 9 and the 8 billion market cap is just plain scary. Not sure what they are doing with the $750 mil secondary offering given that they have $1 billion in cash and no debt?

Nice increase on it service platforms as customers were up 13 percent. Projected increase in domain name renewals going forward. 6.5 mil domain name customers with ASP of $73.

Guidance:
Growth in top line rev.

Rev: Q4 270 to 285 mil, lower end of estimates
2002 1.35 t 1.45 bil

GM: improve going forward, 66 to 67 per, end of 2002 67 to 68 per
OM: 18 to 20 per above 16 to 18 per estimate, 24 to 26 per at end of 2002
Int Inc: 40 to 45 mil range
EPS: 19 cent, above 18 cent estimate
2002 1.04 EPS
Tax Rate: 40 to 45 per, not in tax paying position though, will not have to pay for many years, 30 per guidance to 2002
