kelvin always asks us .... have the fundamentals changed?
have they here?

The transaction is expected to close in the current quarter. Following the transaction SGI will no longer consolidate SGI Japan in its financial statements but will instead record its sales to SGI Japan and its proportionate share of SGI Japan's earnings. SGI plans to provide updated financial guidance reflecting the impact of the transaction on its quarterly financials when the deal closes. However, SGI's objective of breaking even at the operating profit level in this quarter as discussed in its quarterly earnings conference call on Monday, October 22, 2001, remains unchanged.

Yet another spectacular wrong from me on Oil Service stocks. It was there, it was there for the taking, but it never quite got to my comfort level.

Much like the $#(@#$%!34%@#$!%#^% AMAT's and Such that I want that just won't go to a comfortable price.

So in the spirit of wrongness, tech has gone to far for me. Bought F at 16.22, and DPH at 11.70. Sold calls again on SUNW when it hit 10. Thinking about one called AETH which is a tech trading just about at cash on hand, until they burn some more in losses.

Going to buy some T soon as well when they finish throwing it away.
