richard, here's my mismash thinking, combo of technical and sentimental analysis. the news on thursday was horrible for fundamental and sentimental analysis of the market. from a technical standpoint the cubes were down and poised to go down bigtime, they had all the reasons to break, but instead, they vaulted from their lows and finished at their highs, a great technical reversal, also volume was large. this may be outside the normal model but somebody was chasing cubes. if wall street climbs a wall of worry, its got a huge wall to climb. this market should be tanking and that's what most analysts say. funny how the market fools the greatest number of people at any time.
