Since JF is a doctor, I am surprised he would find a strong stance on English racist. English has become indispensable in science and medicine in the last century. Scientists and doctors with a limited understanding of English are and will remain at a disadvantage. * * *

"To say that conservatives want segregation looks like an allegation of racism to me. " The RW is pushing for school vouchers....I believe on of the reason behind that is so the schools can be resegregated. At the moment most minorities are in favor of them because vouchers are so badly understood. As I understand them, the amount of money provided is much to little to cover tuition at other schools and their will be other admission requirements. I may be way off in my understanding, but I think most others are too. I stand by my statements on "my god is better than your god" ,e.g.Falwell, Robertson, and jingoism.....and these have nothing to do with race.
