Not really. The difference in system price will be small. AMD will charge about $10 more for a value segment Hammer than a Duron of the same speed grade, while due to the simpler chipsets of the system boards, Hammer based system boards will be slightly more that $10 less expensive. At the same time, since the value segment Duron will have to be manufactured using SOI to compete against the value segment P4, while the value segment Hammer will be able to match the speed grade of the value segment Duron while using less expensive bulk silicon, value segment Hammer will be cheaper to manufacture.
