Identix Launches BioLogon 3 for Microsoft Windows XP Operating System; Identix Demonstrating BioLogon 3 Today at Windows XP Launch in San Francisco
LOS GATOS, Calif., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Identix Incorporated (Amex: IDX - news), the worldwide leader in providing biometric authentication, security and identification solutions, today announced the launch of Identix' BioLogon® 3, with full support for the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system, including Fast User Switching, which enables users to switch profiles without shutting down their applications and completely logging off. BioLogon 3, the latest version of Identix' award-winning authentication software, compliments the increased level of security within Windows XP by supporting multifactor authentication to provide, what the Company believes, is one of the highest levels of network security available. With BioLogon 3, users can quickly establish multifactor authentication policies requiring any combination of fingerprint, smartcard, or password login.
