Nothing wrong with that reasoning - I agree with all of your points except one.. We are not bombing all of Afghanistan. Once again - if we were there would be hundreds of thousands of dead. Interdicting with small and elite forces while the Taliban was still organized and garrisoned - not to mention equipped with artillery and armor would be negligent. There are already rumors that the airfield expedition last week was met by a quickly organized counter attack. If anything - we are being too surgical.
