What Intel and AMD do with their benchmarks is try to hilight the best features of their processors, so they will typically pick and chose their benchmarks. What I find (slightly) more honest about Intel is that they only benchmark their own processors, instead of penalizing the competitor's product, which I have seen AMD do.

But as for comments on a discussion forum, most of us are more informed than the average consumer that marketing will target; therefore, it's best to be honest, and simply include all the idea, and let the individual sort it out. If you are going to make your informed opinion based on throwing away all the benchmarks where Intel performs better, then that's your choice. Recommending that as a course of action for everybody is where I'll disagree.

It's not up to Jim McMannis to tell the world which benchmarks are fair, and which aren't. Given your admitted bias against the Pentium 4, I can see that your judgement will be clouded by your desire to see that product fail.
