yea, WB, as I suspected. Sysmark 2001 would be a great benchmark (I especially like the "response time" idea) if it didn't run a benchmark 100% of the time that specifically checks the manufacturer ID of the processor to determine whether to run the "fast code" or the "slow code." You realize, of course, that this mechanism violates Intel's prescribed method of checking for SSE compatibility, published in their technical documents.

All internet sites should refuse to run ANY BAPCO benchmarks until WME is fixed, or BAPCO substitutes a different encoder which is functional.
