I think I can answer that first part. When Jesus came and died and rose again, his position as King/servant/Savior was such a paradigm shift that many did not(or would not)see what had happened. Being a believer and follower of Christ, I believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father. It is the "gift" given to mankind, man did not/could not earn it. Other religions base their "salvation" on what (the person) does, not what JESUS the CHRIST did. Many people cannot stand the fact that they cannot save themselves. That they cannot pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. Jesus paid the price, period!.. and Christians have accepted that and are secure in that. Seems that drives some nutty, that we ARE secure...I know it does satan, as he continually accuses us before the Father....that sound familiar? So, other "religions" are not in the liberals sights, since they are no threat to their own worldly knowledge of loss/gain.

I read PRO's response and I find no fault with it. I'll just add that several very sad folks post here. They are the whaling last defenders of the mr. bill. They are liberals defined by "honor means dick". From the sad ways and means of mr. bill the learned vacant liberal minded respect for others. These posters have only an interest in baiting attacks and have no interest in civil discussion.
